ELECTS NEW PRESIDENT

 

CFE’s General Assembly elects Henk Koller as President and elects new Executive Board

On 19 September 2014, the General Assembly of the CFE in Amsterdam elected Henk Koller (The Netherlands) as new CFE President for a two-year term starting on 1 January 2015.    Henk Koller will succeed the current President Jiří Nekovář (Czech Republic) who has been President of the CFE for the last two years. As new Vice Presidents, the General Assembly elected Mihaela Mitroi (Romania) and Bruno Gouthière (France) succeeding Gottfried Schellmann (Austria) and Herbert Becherer (Germany). The new Treasurer of the CFE will be Branislav Kováč (Slovakia). The office of General-Secretary will be taken over by Stephen Coleclough (UK), succeeding Nora Schmidt-Kesseler (Germany). The chairman of the Fiscal Committee, Piergiorgio Valente (IT) as well as the chairman of the Professional Affairs Committee, Dick Barmentlo (The Netherlands) will remain in their offices. Vice President Ian Hayes (UK) was also reelected by the General Assembly in Amsterdam.
